He attended CU Boulder’s music school and has been active in the CO music scene since 1984, but ultimately received his graphic design degree from the Colorado Institute of Art. He was befriended by his drumming hero, Yellowjackets’ Will Kennedy, and also credits Tony Williams, Simon Phillips and Gary Husband as musical inspiration. He is not a fan of the Oxford comma - but is a very proud papa to daughter Kelia, now a fashion/celebrity photographer in Los Angeles.</image:caption>
